On this episode of TRGGR Radio we speak with coach and high school guidance counselor Dennis Jackson, founder of the western Massachusetts-based P.L.A.Y. (planned learning and achievement for youth) program. We spoke about the origins of that program as one that combines academic success with athletics, as well as the camp’s current financial difficulties. We also hear and discuss commentary on how we can connect current global movements from Sujani Reddy, professor of American and Asian American/Pacific Islander Studies at Amherst College. Also, included here is Mumia Abu Jamal’s latest commentary “Cracks in the Empire.” Enjoy and send us your feedback by commenting on this page, via Facebook, or via email: Peace.
